Job title: Electronics and Appliance Tester/Repair Technician

Re-Source Intégration is a social enterprise employing over 200 people, the majority of whom live with functional limitations such as intellectual disabilities, physical impairments, or mental health conditions. Our main areas of activity include assembly, packaging, retail sales through our three La Source des Aubaines stores, and the production of essential oil through our cedar trimmings collection service, Cèdres Recyclés. We are currently seeking a candidate to test and repair items to be sold in our liquidation centers.
Summary of Responsibilities:

Test the proper functioning of electrical and electronic products and small motor appliances (e.g., lawn mowers, snow blowers, generators, air conditioners, etc.)

Ensure appliances are in good working order

Assemble furniture

Inspect and repair furniture as needed

Check hardware contents in boxes of unassembled items

Minimize product losses
-
Maximize the resale potential of defective items

Perform other related tasks as requested by a supervisor
Required Qualifications:

Minimum education: Grade 9 (Secondary III)

Solid knowledge of electricity, electronics, and carpentry

Knowledge of small engines
-
Good physical condition (able to lift, push, pull)

Working Conditions:

Must be eligible for the Canada Summer Jobs program (30 years old or younger)

Salary: $17.64/hour
