Job Title: Cedar Collection Driver
Location: 312 Saint-Louis Street, Gatineau (QC) J8P 8B3
Employment Status: Seasonal — from early June to the end of October (depending on the season)

Re-Source Intégration is a social enterprise employing over 200 people, the majority of whom live with functional limitations such as intellectual disabilities, physical limitations, or mental health conditions. Our main areas of activity include assembly, packaging, retail sales through our three La Source des Aubaines stores, and the production of essential oils through our Cèdres Recyclés cedar trimmings collection service. Re-Source Intégration is a large family that values respect and the well-being of all its employees while providing quality service to our clients and protecting the environment.

We are currently looking for a responsible individual to drive company vehicles and collect cedar trimmings throughout the region.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Operate a pickup truck and a cube truck

  • Provide cedar branch/trimming collection services in the Outaouais region

  • Participate in the shredding process of collected branches

  • Feed branches into the wood chipper

  • Prepare, fill, empty, and clean the distillation stills

  • Perform any other related duties as requested by a supervisor

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license

  • Excellent driving record

  • Good knowledge of the Outaouais region and surrounding areas

  • Good verbal and written communication in French, and oral communication in English

Required Skills:

  • Good physical condition (ability to work standing for long periods)

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull

  • Ability to work in heat or rain

  • Enjoys teamwork

  • Reliable and dependable

Working Conditions:

  • Driving experience required: 2 to 3 years

  • Wage: $20 per hour

  • Weekly hours: 16 to 20 hours (Mondays and Tuesdays, depending on need)

  • Employment status: Seasonal, May to October (depending on the season)
