Small motor-powered merchandise verification and repair clerk / delivery driver

We are currently looking for a person to work on the verification and repair of the items that will be sold in our liquidation centers. In addition, the person who will hold the position will have to make occasional deliveries with a cube type truck (class 5).
 

Summary of functions

• Check the proper functioning of electrical, electronic and small engines products such as mower, snow blower, generator, air conditioning, etc. ;
• See the proper functioning of devices;
• Check the condition of the furniture and repair them if necessary;
• Check the hardware in the boxes of non -assembled items;
• Minimize losses while maximizing the potential of defective articles;
• Driving a cube type truck during replacement to provide a delivery and picking of equipment in the region and its surroundings;
• Ensure the safety of the vehicle and its merchandise during delivery;
• Perform all other tasks related to the request of your superior.

 
Qualifications required

• Hold a level of study of secondary 3;
• Good knowledge of electricity and electronics;
• Knowledge of small engines;
• Have a valid class 5 driving license;
• Good knowledge of the Outaouais region and its surroundings.
• Good physical capacity (lift, push, shoot)

Working conditions

Salary: $ 19.11/HRS

Number of hours per week: 40 hours

Work schedule: day, Monday to Friday

Employment status: permanent, full time
